ReplyDeleteI used to love haunted houses! Was one of those people that'd start laughing and waving/saying hi to the actors. Then I tried the one at Universal Studios in LA. They have the rights to most of those scary film characters and had a ton of production value. There's a section where you walk over a bridge with hands reaching up/grabbing at your ankles. I was fine until that happened. I *hate* people I don't know touching me. Was still recovering from a round of bronchitis, so I lost my breath and had to be let out through an emergency exit. A friend left with me while the rest of our group finished up. She was glad for an excuse to head out. We did Disney the next day, and I wasn't sure what to expect from their Haunted Mansion. I was ridiculously high-strung going into it!
ReplyDeleteWe usually carve pumpkins and watch a few scary movies... and Harry Potter, of course!

Thanks so much for the giveaway!! You have a GREAT selection of books!!
ReplyDeleteNow, to answer your question: I don't like the sinister aspects of Halloween, such as terrifying books and movies, with a LOT of blood and gore. UGH. What I do like, though, is reading paranormal romance and urban fantasy books. (Well, I do this all year long, anyway, lol.) I also LOVE to dress up in non-scary costumes. My favorite is Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter series. And I add Professor McGonaghal's hat!
