Graphic made for Armchair BEA website by Nina of Nina Reads.
Today is a big giveaway for Armchair BEA. Today is also a big Twitter party day!!!
For those of us who don't have giveaways for today, we are to discuss our favorite books OR which books at BEA that we think will end up as favorite reads.
Since I touched on my favorites so far of 2012 in yesterday's post, let's see what I'm most excited for and could possibly be a favorite read from the BEA author list!
- Jennifer L. Armentrout - Onyx, Cursed
- Kady Cross - Girl in the Clockwork Collar (No, I haven't gotten around to reading it yet!)
- Jocelyn Davies - A Fractured Light
- Jenny Han & Siobhan Vivian - Burn for Burn
- Marie Lu - Prodigy
- Jackson Pearce - Fathomless
- Mo Willems - The Duckling Gets a Cookie!?, Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs (My niece and I LOVE reading his books together!)
I know I am probably missing quite a bit! Some of these books won't be released until 2013, but I do believe ARCs will be at BEA. At least, that's what it seems when I looked at the BEA site. :)
What about you? Is there anything that you can't wait to get your happy hands on from the BEA list?
I'm hoping to grab a copy of Fathomless on Thursday when I'm at BEA! As well as Prodigy, that would be AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteGreat list!
Here's my Armchair BEA Best of 2012 post and my giveaway post for today!
I still need to start reading Marie Lu's series! I've heard amazing things about Legend. The book I'm looking forward to is David Levithan's 'Every Day' ... or Lauren Oliver's 'Spindlers.' I wish I could attend and maybe get a copy!
ReplyDeleteProdigy seems to be popular, I should check out the first in the series. I haven't read any Jennifer L. Armentrout but she is getting a lot of mentions this week also. Need to get reading
ReplyDeleteProdigy (really enjoyed Legend) and Fathomless (love the Little Mermaid!) are probably top of my list! My Best of (short) list is here Bookish Whimsy and I am now following your blog through GFC! :)
ReplyDeleteCAN'T.WAIT.FOR.ONYX.AND.CURSED. God this waiting is killing me!! Awesome list! ;) :) Hope you're having an awesome time!! Enjoy aBEA! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the Mo Willems books! My kids adore them too.
ReplyDeleteI have Girl in the Clockwork Collar on my Kindle waiting for me to read it, but I'm trying to hold off until I've gotten through some of my more pressing reads.
And I'm one of the few people in the world who really didn't like Legend, so I probably will skip Prodigy, but I'm glad there's so many people out there who love it!
Great list! Here's my Best of 2012!
I have not heard of any of these books, but now I am curious. I am going to look into a few of the titles.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up.
