Once Upon a Readathon Day #1 - Goals!

It's here, it's here! It's time for the fourth annual Once Upon a Read-a-Thon hosted by Lori at Pure Imagination, Angela & Loretta at Reading Angels and Candace at Candace's Book Blog. It runs from NOW, 12:01 am on July 8th to 11:59 on July 10th.

Well, here I am with my first Readathon. It's now 11:02 AM on July 8 and I'm just typing up my goals post and I haven't even begun reading. Oy!

Sadly, when I signed up for this Readathon in early June, my calendar for this week was clear. However, that is no longer the case. Sooo, my goals are quite simple:

I think these goals are doable! I'm not overwhelming myself on my first Readathon. Let's face it...I have the attention span of a gnat. I'm going to have to leave my phone and computer in a different room so I'll actually read. This is why I'm so far behind on my Goodreads goal for the year, too! HAHAH!

Also, check back here on Wednesday! I'll have a #OUReadathon Challenge post up! Do I know what that is yet? Umm...nope! We know I'll get it done, though. Tomorrow night...before bed?

  2. I'm the same, I'm trying to keep it short and simple. Let's hope both our goals are doable and we can finish the books we are planning to read by Wednesday. Good luck!

My goals are here if you'd like to have a look. x

  4. Good luck! I've been wanting to get my hands on the Summer series. I hear you on being behind with Goodreads goals. My goal this year was to read 100 books and I'm so far behind I'm not even sure I'll hit 50. Hopefully a readathon will help us both catch up!
